RHEL not showing current disk size.
Hi,
I have a Perc Raid controller which tells me effective space that I have is 3997952 MB
which is around 3.812 TB.
I created a RAID 5 array and mounted it on a partition but the size that I see there is only
2064244MB which is around 1.968 TB.
I run a fdisk -l and see the same information above i.e 1.968 TB
I am wondering why is there a discrepancy between the sizes reported by the perc hardware raid controller and redhat.
Is there a limitation on the maximum disk space that can be used by redhat?
Thanks,
