cant get my 3Com up!
hello, i got a 3Com 3C905B-TX on my box and i tried installing the drivers from an accompanying CD. This is my first time to hook up my box to a network.
however, after going through the instructions, i restart the network service and get this:
on KDE, i checked Network Adapters Configuration (Hardware tab on Network Configuration) and the resource section are all blank with IRQ = unknown.Bringing up interface eth0: Failed to bring up eth0.
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Device or resource busy [FAILED]
manually probing the ethernet card returns a certain MAC address, so this means Linux sees my hardware, but can't seem to get it up.
any ideas? thanks everyone!
