    SMP kernel for P4?

    i want to buy a P4 with Hyperthreating and just want to know if i had to build a SMP kernel to have the 2CPUs.
    make install not love

    i would think so, since AFAIK a lot of the cpu components are duupilcated on HT cpus. its only like 30 mins to compile a kernel tho so its not goign to take long to chaneg if u get it wrong
