Monitor will only display 1024x768 w/ dvi cable
I recently picked up a DVI cable (full 24 pin) to use the dvi input on my dell LCD monitor. The problem I'm having is every time it's sent anything but 1024x768, it doesn't display properly (nothing but wavy lines). The monitor displays fine when I use vga. The problem is persistant in both windows and linux.
Equipment:
Dell LCD monitor. Can't find product number but it's from 2001.
ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon
24 pin DVI cable
Anyone heard of something like this?
