OK so,

I'm running Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper and I have this USB mic http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16836111601. I am pretty new to linux so bear with me. I'm not sure if it is reconized. This is what i see when i list usb devices. The first two are my mouse and keyboard so I'm pretty sure the mic is the third one.



and this is what i see in alsa mixer



In skype or audacity the mic does not work and I am not sure how to trouble shoot this.
