Mouse Sensivity problem - Opical Wheel Mouse OMGB30B

Hi ppl.
I have a Opical Wheel Mouse Samsung ( Model OMGB30B )
It functions but I have a problem of sensitivity.
If I move the mouse very slowly, the pointer does not move
( It is very irritating if i want to place the pointer at a precise place. )
I use Mandrake 9.2 Downloaded version and I'm newbie! lol
help me please :P

if you have kde installed, run the program called "kcontrol", then go the peripherals, click on mouse, click advanced, and you got it! let me know if it works

I changed the pointer acceleration to 2x and the pointer threshold to 10 pixels...
Its allright but the pointer moves slowly when i do small moves with the mouse and it moves well when i do fast moves with the mouse.
I tried to increase the pointer acceleration value and it only moves faster when i do quick moves with the mouse...
any suggestion?

well i can tell you my settings, which work really nice for me, though our mouse tastes may be differant :P

anyhow, i have my pointer accel. set to "2x" and i have my threshold set to 4 pixels, this seems to work well
