Need distro/graphics card advice.
Hi.
I have an Ati Radeon 9250 and I've spent the last week trying every method under the sun to get 3D acceleration working in Ubuntu 6.06. Since I have failed miserably and no-one seems to know what the problem is, I would be grateful is someone could suggest a distro that supports my card (or, a graphics card that is supported in Ubuntu, either would be great). I need 3D acceleration for my work, and I really really REALLY don't want to use Windows
Thanks in Advance,
Martin

If you are looking to get a new video card, nVidia cards usually work quite well with Linux, but I've been reading that ATI is making big improvements with Linux, lately.

Well I'd LIKE to get my current card working, but If thats not going to happen, I don't mind getting a new one if it's guaranteed to work....
Thanks for the advice,
Martin
