i installed the latest legacy nvidia drivers for a card with an nvidia aladdin TNT chip. after compiling the kernel, the installer built the module without errors.
however, glxgears sometimes freezes the system
i also noticed that nvidiafb was running, but since i wont need a framebuffer, how can i remove this module (known to conflict with the nvidia module)?
