I am very new to linux but having a lot of unexpected trouble. When I was making choices for hardware, I went for all nvidia because i read how they usually have decent driver support for linux.

I purchased a board with the NF6100-405 chipset, and it looks like there's no nvidia drivers for linux (im running FC5). I installed the nVidia display drivers (newest) but when I select "nvidia" for display device, it just fails to launch X and I have to switch back to "nv" device.

The onboard LAN and Sound also don't work, and ASROCK (The board makers) only supply Windows drivers.

Am I stuck until nVidia gets up and releases something?
