I am running Kanotix (Debian) on a DELL 9100 laptop and everything pretty much works but when operating the volume control on the laptop the Master control on Kmix moves ok but no change in output volume of any application. The next two sliders actually control the volume.

Tried lots of things even 'lineak' but still the same. Any one else have a solution to this small but annoying problem ?

I need to somehow remap physical volume control to operate the second slider in kmix I think ?

Any help greatly appreciated.
