help installing network card on notebook
I recently was given a Compaq Presario 1210 notebook computer. Because its old i chose to install linux on it. I have installed DeLi Linux .7 and everything seems fine. I only can't get to the internet. I have an old 3com 3C3FEM556C that came with the computer. When I got the computer it had Win95 installed, and the network card was able to get to the internet at that point, so I know the card works. Although I am pretty savvy with windows and TCP/IP, i have no clue how to see if the card is installed properly, look at TCP/IP settings, or any of that under linux.
Can someone please help me???? THANKS!
