External USB CD-RW not writing, but reading and erasing
Hello,
I've found some threads in this phorum regarding external burning drives, but nothing helped. The external drive is an IDE/USB 2 box from TEAC CD-W552-PUK with a LG DVDRAM inside.
It starts writing a piece of data and then fails. But it is able to read CDs and to erase CD-RWs. I tried TAO, 16x, su, CD-RW and nothing changed.
Any kick in the right direction would be appreciated
I gues there can be a problem with the data spead, but how to tune it, or... you know...
Thanks,
Robert.
