Printer error

Does anyone have any idea what this error message means?

kprinter: WARNING: KFilterBase::findFilterByExtension : no filter found for text/plain

I get it every time I try to print something. With some apps (OpenOffice.org, Konqueror, Adobe Acrobat) the page(s) print anyway. But in other apps (Firefox, Thunderbird) nothing comes out.

Any idea what the problem is and how to fix it?

Thank you so very much for the reply. Re-installing the print packages with Yast has done the trick. I actually did this just before I read your reply, however, thank you for replying as I had posted this problem in many places and you were the only person to ever bother to reply.
