Problem setting up EPSON Stylus Photo 820
Hello~!
I am new to Linux and I just installed Kubuntu 6.10 on my computer a few days ago. After a clean install, I installed ndiswrapper and nVidia drivers, both of which are working nicely. But now I can't seem to setup my printer.
When I go to:
K Menu -> System Settings -> Printers
the mouse turns into a loading icon but it just keeps loading and I never get to setup printer.
The same thing happens when I try to use KControl, it just keeps loading when I try to edit Printer stuff and I have to kill the process.

When I go to /var/run/cups/ there is infact a folder called certs.Code:E [03/Dec/2006:10:30:13 -0800] Creating missing directory "/var/run/cups/certs" E [03/Dec/2006:10:40:42 -0800] Creating missing directory "/var/run/cups/certs" E [03/Dec/2006:11:02:59 -0800] Creating missing directory "/var/run/cups/certs" E [03/Dec/2006:11:32:17 -0800] Creating missing directory "/var/run/cups/certs" E [03/Dec/2006:11:37:32 -0800] Creating missing directory "/var/run/cups/certs" E [03/Dec/2006:12:07:42 -0800] Creating missing directory "/var/run/cups/certs" E [03/Dec/2006:12:10:13 -0800] Creating missing directory "/var/run/cups/certs" E [03/Dec/2006:12:32:24 -0800] Creating missing directory "/var/run/cups/certs"
The weird thing is, on a previous similar installation (I used Kubuntu 6.10, installed it the same way, did the same things) I was able to setup my printer easily, but now I can't.
My printer is Epson Stylus Photo 820 and I'm using Parallel. I also have CUPS installed and running.
uname -a
Any help will be appreciated thx.Code:Linux dsktop-VE510 2.6.17-10-generic #2 SMP Fri Oct 13 18:45:35 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux
