    Voice modem

Could someone please recommend a currently available Linux (Fedora Core 6) compatible and capable analog Voice/data/fax modem? I capitalized Voice because that's the function most necessary.

I don't care if it's serial or pci, as long as it works with a modicum of configuration (in other words, without having to go through the winmodem/linmodem motions).

    Thank you.

I used the MultiTech MultiModem MT5634ZPX-PCI-U under Fedora 5. It worked fine, although I didn't try the voice capabilities. MultiTech says they provide support for Linux.

Thank you for the suggestion! I'm going to look further into it.
