DVD Burner
Hello fellow Linux users!
I need a DVD burner, and I have narrowed the search down to 2 that would be ok:
Lite-On
LITE-ON Black 16X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 16X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 5X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 24X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2M Cache ATAPI/E-IDE DVD Burner W/ LightScribe
or
Lite-On
LITE-ON Black 18X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 18X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM IDE Burner
First off, do these work OK with Ubuntu/ Linux in general? What about Lightscribe? I found these links for Lightscribe on Linux:
http://www.lightscribe.com/downloadS...nux/index.aspx
and
http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?pid=10803
So... does it work? If so, is it worth getting the one with lightscribe with the slower write times? Or the one without with the faster write times?
Thanks in advance!

Ok, nevermind. I already bought it
. I went ahead and got one with lightscribe. I mean, why not? It's like 5 bucks more! It should arrive this week! Can't wait.
