    gpm-> /dev/mouse: No Such Device

    hi
    A have Logitec USB mouse and after upgrading my kern 2.4.22->2.4.26 my USB mouse doesnt work.When i reboot before login --> Error msg:
    'Starting gpm: /usr/sbin/gpm -m /dev/mouse -t imps2
    gpm: oops() invoked from gpm.c(997)
    /dev/mouse: No ssuch device'
    with kern 2.4.22 it worked.
    Also i want to ask how to tell my linux that my mose has a scroll and i want to use it.
    Slackware 9.1
    kernel 2.4.26

    here is part of my XFree86.0.log:

    i've edit xfree86 to change the device "/dev/usb/" but it has the same problem.
    Also i tried all the suggestions in other forums about the usb mouse but it didnt help.

    Are you using Slackware or Red Hat / Fedora ?
    Did you made custom kernel ? If yes, did you include USB support. ?

    note : Use mouseconfig to configure your mouse (As user: root )

    I'm using Slackware. Yes i made a custom kernel, and yes i included USB support /including Human Interface USB.../

    Are you using Slackware or Red Hat / Fedora ?
    Did you made custom kernel ? If yes, did you include USB support. ?
    The question is why linux says 'No such device' when there is such a device
