LInux DNS problem
I am using RH9 as a Primary DNS server in office. It was working fine for the last 5 months. There is no problem. Now my system services got hung frequently. My DNS service is hanging twice a day. I have to kill it and restart it. What could be the problem.

nuclear pulses from a microsoft powered power station? I Dont know.
What do the logs say?
check /var/log/messages and any additional log file that bind uses.
It is also a possiblity that you have been rooted, and someone has replaced your version of bind with a version containing a badly written back door.
