mtrr: MTRR 1 not used
Hi -- I guess this is the appropriate place for this post.
Just before completing a boot into what seems like a functional desktop I am getting this message through X window. It is very puzzling! The last lines of dmesg are:
mtrr: MTRR 1 not used
[drm] Initialized drm 1.0.1 20051102
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:01:00.0[A] -> Link [LNKA] -> GSI 11 (level, low) -> IRQ 11
[drm] Initialized savage 2.4.1 20050313 on minor 0
mtrr: 0xe8000000,0x4000000 overlaps existing 0xe8000000,0x1000000
mtrr: base(0xe4000000) is not aligned on a size(0x5000000) boundary
agpgart: Found an AGP 2.0 compliant device at 0000:00:00.0.
agpgart: Putting AGP V2 device at 0000:00:00.0 into 1x mode
agpgart: Putting AGP V2 device at 0000:01:00.0 into 1x mode
I am thinking this is maybe a video problem? Or maybe: I just installed the madwifi driver. Anyone having ideas, please let me know.
P.S. The whole gory 430 lines of dmesg are attached.
Many thanks in advance.
