what is a good linux friendly motherboard out there that seam to be loved by linux users generaly.

I don't know of any mother board that is not supported by linux. I have no personaly favourite.

I like Asus boards since they have never given me a problem and VIA have some pretty good chipsets. But as said all motherboards are supported by linux just some of the onboard may need seperate modules that are closed source (Nvidia, ATI etc..) HTH.
