    need driver canon ip1700 at Fedora Core 3


    Hi guys..

    Help me, please

    I saw in linuxprinting, canon pixma Ip1700 perfectly support in Linux

    But I do not know where is download ?

    Please tell me the places and how the work is download step by step until succes printing in the paper.

    My computer using Fedora Core 3 + LTSP

    According to the OpenPrinting.org printer database, you should use the IP2200 driver that's available directly from Canon. You might take a look around on their site for it.

    Get the IP2200 for your iP1700

    There isn't one for the iP1700 so you need to get the Pixma iP 2200 which is a linux driver there no linux driver by canon for the 1700.

    Canon IP1880 in Canon Asia. You click in menu support & download. You must find it.

    You can grab TurboPrint for Linux which has divers for all the Canon including the iP1700. Works great only downside is it's cost. You can try it for free and use but you have to buy a key to get rid of there logo that prints at the bottom of the page.
