ALSA settings
Hello,
I have a slight problem with my sound. Every time I boot the computer I have to run alsaconf and select my soundcard to get it working. Now I know I can make a .asoundconf file in my homedirectory but this is just selecting the sound card to use. When I check the file /proc/asound/cards it doesn't list my SB Live! untill I run alsaconf. I can see that the file has only read permissions.
Any solution to this? How can I save the 'cards' file?
Any input is much appreciated.
- Sander
