Can you be a bit more specific with hardware and capability of the machines? There are lots of distros that will run from USB or CF. Post a list of the hardware specs.

Linux for a HP thin client .....
I need to install a fully workable linux on a compact flash of size 512 MB .
I can say that i want to try it on a HP thin client which has a VIA processorCN700 and a via chipset...
Will i be able to compress the fedora or rhel to a minimum of 512 Mb or should i use the distros such as debian , ubuntu,etc....
