    Unhappy Linux Drivers for PROLiNK 1456U 56k Data/Fax USB Modem

    Hi All,
    Where can I find Linux Drivers for this modem to download & configure for use with my Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant Update1)
    (Linux version 2.6.9-11.ELsmp )operating system which is running on a i686 CPU architecture ? or any other version of Redhat Linux/Fedora.
    Is there a way to get the drivers compiled from somewhere?

    Please let me know.

    The problem here is that most USB modems are Winmodems, getting Linux drivers for it will be pretty hard as any Winmodem

    We can help you to find one if it exists, post the output of lsusb
