Hello Everyone,
I installed SUSE 10.1 on an OLD IBM server. Everything went well for the installation but when it came to starting off with xserver I can’t get through.
The Hardware/Software description is :

1. SUSE 10.1
2. IBM Netfinity Server.
3. Hyundai LCD Monitor.

This might be due to monitor configurations but I can't figure that out. I did try "sax2" after logging as root in failsafe mode but nothing happens after that except that I get the message “Video Mode not supported”.

As I am new to LINUX so I'll appreciate your help and also if someone can direct me to some to the point tutorials for understanding LINUX....I will appreciate that.
