screen problem
i need help with my screen.
on my computer there is an output for a monitor and a tv.
i had the computer off, unplugged the monitor then plugged in a tv.
later i turned off the computer and unplugged the tv and plugged the monitor back in.
then i turned on the computer.
all the normal stuff happened up untill after my windows xp boot screen came on.
right after it was done loading the monitor turned off.
i could still here the startup noise though.
first i unplugged the monitor and plugged it back in, restarted it and that didn't work.
then i plugged in a new monitor and it still turns off right after the boot screen.
for some reason it works just fine for feather linux, thats what im using to post this right now.
please help me i just paid alot of money for this computer i would hate for it to just break.Microsoft isn't evil, they just make really crappy operating systems.

This is a Windows XP problem, not a Linux problem. (As you stated, Linux works fine.)
Probably you have the resolution set incorrectly within XP. No idea how to fix that.
