Hi,

I have a MS Sidewinder Pro Force Feedback and cannot get it to work in FC2. The kernel has JOYDEV already loaded. When I do a "modprobe sidewinder" it loads no problem. When I run jstest /dev/js0 i get No joysticks attached. However I can reboot Redmond's OS and it works perfectly.
A copy of my "lsmod' returns:

I added 'alias char-major-13-0 sidewinder' to etc/modprobe.conf according to 'modules.conf' you have use 'modprobe.conf' in kernel 2.6
The joystick driver says that no additional options are needed as 'digital' MS devices are autoconfigured.

HELEP!!
