HD compatibility in Fedora Core 4
Hi linux gurus,
I am trying to install fedora Core 4 in an IBM x3250 server with (x3250, Dual Core Intel Xeon 3060 2.4GHz / 4MB L2 Cache, 2x512MB, O/Bay SA) with HDD (IBM 146GB 15K 3.5in Hot-Swap SAS HDD -- IBM part number
40K1044) .....but FC4 doesn't detect the drive.....
Then i tried with SATA (160GB SATA drives (IBM Part Number is 39M4522)...
STILL the same probvlem......
Does any one have any solution for this.....From where i get the driver for this HDD to FC4....

I have contacted IBM and found that FC4 is not compatible with IBMx3250 servers.
Now we are planning to go with Suse 9 or RHEL 4/5...
Tested with Suse....
Have any one tested RHEL with x3250 servers or face any hardware compatibility issues....
Your commends and suggestions are valuable!!!!!!!!!!!!
