old AOC 4Dlr monitor -- what specs??
hi
i got this old AOC monitor. on the back it says the model name is "4Dlr", but no specs!
nothing on google either.
so my question is very simple:
WHAT are the MONITOR's vertical and horizontal REFRESH RATES?
That is: what should i put after HorizSync and VertRefresh in my xorg.conf?

Hi and Welcome !
Try generic refresh rates.
Code:Horizsync 30.0-60.0 VertRefresh 50.0-70.0
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

thanx for the reply, but i already got it working using "generic" specs (the ones automatically chosen by the xserver).
but i want to get the max out of it without the risk of frying the monitor. (i know, it's probably worth no more than 5 buck, but i'd like it to last till i get my syncmaster back)
anyone happen to have the same model (or the manual) who can tell me the exact specs?

Generic Specs should work fine. You can get max output using correct Video Driver and Resolutions only.
