    Spare it from FC2...gentoo saves all!

    Yeah...I had my mic working under ALSA on 2.5 dev sources a while back. I'm running an Audigy Live Platinum. So odds are, the new emu10k2 drivers work well with it. Just emerge alsamixergui and mess with the mic/input levels.
