Does anone think this is a good heatsink for a socket 370 intel celeron processor at 500mhz?
it looks like your standard fan and heat sink to me. it should be fine.
here my test to see if works: put your hand on the heat sink while its running, if you don't burn your hand then all is well (this means its running under 110F).
It was designed for rather hot Athlon's, that little Celery shouldn't give it any problems.
But robotics is right, the ouch test is a classic. Or you could always compile your kernel for hardware/thermal monitoring, and then use something like gkrellm2. Or just read /proc :)
