help connect to wireless network
I'm new to Linux, but i'm trying to get to know this OS.
I have a D-Link AirPlus DWL-520+ in one of my PCI slots that enables me to connect to a wireless access point that directs me straight to a wireless shared internet connection...
Suse 9.1 recognizes the card but does not connect to the access point,
I also tried with Knoppix but wouldn't even recognize the card ... :?:
I checked the d-link website and apparently the said card is compatible with all versions of Linux
So, what is the best way to go? Is it because I am trying to connect to a windows wireless network? or I am completely ignorant about linux (probably)....
Please help cause i would really like to format my winxp drive and learn the big boys OS and can't have much fun without the net :D ......
