I have a good question, How do I get my 320GB SimpleDrive External Drive to work on OpenSuse 11.1?
I get this long error message (the computer does see it; but it will not work)
Can someone help me please, I have been searching the Internet for help and have gotten no where so I am asking this forum for help now... :confused:

Can you tell us the exact error message and what you have tried.
As smolly says, you'll have to post the error message.
The new kernels really handle USB flash drives and external HDD's very well. I haven't had a single issue since upgrading to PCLOS2007 running a 2.6.18 kernel (and recently a 2.6.22 version). Everything just works, including my new 1Tb NTFS external HDD. So, hopefully your issue should be something simple.
