i just installed gkrellm and it shows my proc at 124C.....this is a P4 2.8 HT is this pretty normal temp.....while it shows TEMP2 at 34C
i guess im just a lil worried seems awefully hot....i have 5 fans in their also fullsize case with rounded cables all that stuff to improve airflow :twisted:
I'm running an AMD AthlonXP 2000+ at 41C. I have a Lian-Li PC-65 chock full of ThermalTake SmartFan IIs. I just installed the Thermalright SLK900U to take me from ~53C to what I'm at now. 8)
43C at the moment, i got a hefty thermaltake volcano 12, took my amd 2400+ down from 58C, normaly runs about 36-44C depending on load and room temp.
never really bothered with thermal temp before, how have yall checked it?
with sensors it will show the speed of fans voltage....temps....how is your guys cpu running so cool even with a beefy fan i have the boxed proc fan on mine which is quite hefty.......you guys sure your not looking at the mobo temp? just seems awefully cool?Quote:

sarumont: have you done anything to your case to make the air flow better to.. like cut out the fan gaurds on the case? i been thinkin of doing that to?
At the start of the day my cpu runs at about 15-16ºC. However, after about 20 minutes it rockets up to around 54-56ºC and stays there for the rest of the session. It hasn't caused me major problems so far but I'm considering adding an extra fan or replacing the existing one on the CPU sooner or later.
