How do I configure a mouse in the command line for mepis 7.0. It is not mouseconfig, but something like it I hope.
Welcome to the forums! :)
I've not run Mepis in several years, but look in /etc/X11/xorg.conf
I think you should find some input device settings there.
You can use nano or vi to edit the file, with root permissions, of course.
Thanks for the reply, thank goodness Mepis has Midnight Commander, which is a great old file manager and editor program. I just went in and edited xorg.conf to go back to my ps2 mouse. I was trying to get my Alps GlidePoint going and completely lost my mouse control. My GlidePoint is working like a regular mouse now. I will work on the touch pad part later. Thanks for the prompt response.
