Printer question
I can't hook my lex z23 printer up to my linux system because there are no drivers for it......actually there is, for SuSe and Red Hat I think. The thing is I am running Slackware 9.0. Is is wise to install the driver [which was made for Red Hat] on the slackware system?????Would it work????
---thanks

What form is your driver in?
If it's a ppd file then you can use cups.

And if it's an rpm, there's a program called rpm2targz that will allow you to unpack the rpm and install it on slack.

(It's actually released by the slack team! :D)
