Hello dukes... I got one that may stomp alot of you!!!
I'm running RH9.0
Searched Google with no luck. Searched here with no luck.
I'm guessing it is not yet supported in Linux at all...
So here goes... Anyone know how to get the Sony MicroVault werking w/ Linux?

Its a flash/thumb drive it should work.
Its a USB Storage Device... check this link http://www.sony.net/Products/Microvault/... But no mention of Linux support at all on Sony's pages... :roll:

Well use google and find out i was giving you a pointer that it should work which means that it should work keep trying. And being a n00b does not give you a good reason to be lazy. This forum is here to help when ur stuck not to write tutorials on how you can do things.Quote:

Sorry about the confusion Giro... I thought you where flaming because I had mentioned searching in the first post. The problem is I did not search apropriately. I just tried usgin 'MicroVaul + USM128US' but not a more general search, ie. 'thumb drive etc'. I guess I should have thought of doing a more general search on thumb drives and not just a specific search for the exact model thumb drive I have...

Just a few tips with googling for Linux stuff: don't necessarily look for the word "driver." And if at first you don't succeed, drop the model name/number/manufacturer out and revert to generic terms (usb thumbdrive).
