USB Wireless card
I have an off-brand USB wireless card, which is nevertheless recognized at startup under 'USB Devices.' (as a name-brand product) However, I have no connectiivty with this device, and it does not seem to be recognized when running KDE. Does the fact that it is recognized at startup mean that I already have the drivers, or do I need to get them seperately?

no, there is also a wired ethernet connection that I am using while I try and get this solved.
