what is cmov?
Recently I wanted to try live CD/DVDs of several distros on my older desktop.
(Myah 3.0, Sabayon 3.5, and Sidux 2008-02)
In each case, boot halted with a black screen sometimes, but mostly the message: "Processor does not support cmov."
What is cmov?
All I could find was this not-very-useful wikipedia link
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. :(
cmov is an instruction only present on i686 cpu's and above. So, you are trying to boot a distro that was compiled for i686 or higher, on a lower cpu.

So, you need a distro that suits your cpu. Maybe one compiled for i386 or i586, like most these days. I can't be more concrete since I don't know the cpu you own.
The processor is shown in kinfo as an AMD K-6. I can search distrowatch for suitable distros.
