I'm currently in a hunt on buying a wirless card for my Redhat Ent 9..
Any ideas on which card would be the best to buy for this platform?

(This would probably be better off in the "networking" forum)
I would suggest anything based on the Prism chipsets - to get those to work you only need to get the appropriate firmware from prism54, and save it to your firmware directory/directories. There seem to be two main Prism chipsets that commonly occur - Prism 2/2.5/3 and Prism GT. The first only supports 802.11b (so is limited in speed - I think goes up to 11mb/s), while Prism GT goes up to 802.11g (up to 54mb/s).
As to which cards use Prism, you can look at linux-wlan.org, but this is rather out of date. I've posed a question asking whether anyone can give an updated list/sources to buy appropriate cards.
Hope this helps
