wireless network

i need a pci card that has atheros or prism2 chipset does D-LINK DWL-G510 54Mbps WIRELESS PCI ADAPTER have this? if not what does?

thanks, i bought the d-link g520 with the atheros chipset. what programs can i use to sniff out networks? the windows setting are not picking any up. just for the record i have no intention of using the software for any wrong doing. i just need it until i get my router going.

1) it's not called "sniffing"* :P it's either "war driving" or "eavesdropping" ;)
2) If Windows doesn't detect and connect to any open nets there is probably none around you (Windows, esp Win XP tends to ignore your settings and connect to any open net regardless of your settings - it sort of war drives for you (with linux you can force it to connect as you tell it to, there are tools to search for APs though)).

* sniffing is running the card in promiscous mode, and then usually over a wired net (not interesting if you're on a switched net, hubbed nets are another story though... :/ )
