What kind of code is it asking for? Can you describe any errors or prompts?
You should be able to boot all the way into a GUI desktop. If not, you might need to play with the cheatcodes available by the F-keys right after the CD begins to spinup, but before it boots fully.oz

Well I left it standing and I guess it did something by itself, so now its on the desktop.
I have a new problem now. I can't connect to my ethernet home dsl network.
When I go start>system>net connect>PPconfig (or something like that)
it tells me that it finds my ethernet line, but when it tries to connect to it, it tells me that another program won't let it or my cords are unplugged.
I checked my cords and they are fine. Whats wrong?

And it booted but won't install.
Will anything happen if I take the boot cd out?

Yay I am so proud of myself.
I am posting this from the computer I set up with Linux DSL today.
Most of the stuff I do with my computer turns out crappy, so I am really happy today.

It won't save to the hard drive.
It goes and starts, but then flashes some red text and closes.
