    Mount SuSe / (root) partition in Mandrive. Copy first title block ( first title, root. kernel and initrd lines ) from SuSe's boot/grub/menu.lst file and pasted in Mandriva's /boot/grub/menu.lst file.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
