    RH 8.0 cmd line only option?

    Anyone know/remember if during custom install of RH 8.0 can you still just install cmd line and skip gui's? I have a older PC I would like to put it on and the HD is only about 2 gigs with P166.

    Yes you can.

    I always install in text mode myself and none of my boxes have x on them.

    You may have to manually play about with the select individual packages section to make sure none of it manages to get on though as it always seems to want to install some x only packages and libraries, even if you do not install x.

    2GB is fine. I still have a production server using a fast sub 4GB drive that is less than 1/2 full. That box is using rh 8
