with Daily build does NOT work, too
Hi!
I wrote on Friday "Problems with GRUB and d-i beta 4".
Well, I have just used a Daily build instead of Beta 4 and debian installer did recognize Windows during the installation.
But... if I try to boot it when GRUB appears, I still obtain:
Booting "Windows NT/2000/XP"
root (hd0,0)
Filesystem type unkwnown, partition type 0x7
savedefault
makeactive
chainloader +1
and Windows does not start.
Can you help me???

I've seend this entry for a Windows 2000 install, I recall it worked on the machne that had it (I'm spekaing the boot process not the OS - that's another sad story...)
title Win 2000 Pro
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
btw aren't daily and nightbuilds often directly from the CVS and not to be considered stable? I'd recoment using the latest stable release.Regards Scienitca (registered user #335819 - http://counter.li.org )
