Partitions numbers has been changed because of new partition. You have to edit /etc/fstab and /boot/grub/menu.lst ( grub.conf ) files.
Which Linux Distro do you have?It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Boot up from Fedora LiveCD, mount / partition of Fedora and edit files. In case it doesn't work, post the output of fdisk -l command here.
