Smile Debian 4 inatllation fails with Q965GF

    HI,
I have been trying to install the Debian 4 in Q965GF Motherboard. It fails to load
with a error message "No common CD-ROM drive detected". Also it asks for a cdrom driver or select the cdrom module manually.

Also tried with the IDE/AHCI mode installation in BIOS. But both fails.

What to do in this case. Any kernel boot parameter available to load the Debian OS?

    Pls help...

    Rgds,

A Debian installation CD with a newer kernel will work nicely:

    What is backparted d-i images?
the link goes for a CD download (223MB). What to do with this?
