    Slax on any PC with Grub

    I'm trying to use Slax on any PC with Grub. It works on most computers that I tried but sometimes I get the error mentioned above. It only says "GRUB _" with a "_" that flashes 2 times faster than normal flashing cursor.

    I have installed grub on a usb pendrive and this pendrive works on most computers as expected. So, I don't think there is a reinstallation needed.

    Do we have a solution except from reinstalling Grub?

    There's a chance GRUB is looking in the wrong place for the startup files. My USB stick did odd things until I set a code in menu.lst (from=/dev/sda1). Otherwise it works fine.
