    cygwin problem

    i downloaded the cygwin and installed it on win xp, on my ibm laptop, after the installation is over, i tryed to run it but i only get like a dos windows for a sec and then it desapears and nothing happens
    can anyone help???!!!!

    Try running it from a normal DOS window and see if it says something.
