the system dies when I try to install redhat 9.0 on my box
my box's hardware list:
adaptec aic-7899 ultra160/m pci scsi card
IDE cdrom
PIII 800MHZ
524MB
Quantum Atlas_v_9_SCA SCSI hard disk 9.1GB
after I boot my box from the CDROM, it started redhat 9.0 installation. I chose the text mode, and then it went the cdrom media test. after I finished the test and clicked on continue, the system died at welcome to red hat linux page. can somebody give any idea to fix this problem? Thanx

What do you mean by "dies"? Any error? What exactly happens? Have you tried that CD on another box?
